Thank You Card for a Friend

Hello crafty friends! I hope you had a great weekend! I got some rest after a very busy week at work. But, I still managed to get some crafty time to make some cards and play with crafty supplies.

For today's card, I wanted to keep things very simple. I used supplies from a mix of wonderful crafty companies: Lawn Fawn, Spellbinders, and Scrapbook.com. You can see the supply list at the end of this blog post.

I made an A2 card base and trimmed another piece to use as my front panel for the card. On this piece, I used an embossing folder from Spellbinders and ran it through my die cutting machine to get that wonderful embossing effect.

Next, I die cut a pumpkin using the stitched pumpkin die from Lawn Fawn and pattern paper from Scrapbook.com. I die cut this pumpkin at least 3 times to add dimension. On the pattern paper, I used Grrr! from Simon Hurley to add a bit more color. I also used Later Gator to color the leaf and vine. To finish the card, I foiled and die cut one of the sentiments from Yana's Blooming Birthday Collection.

I hope you have enjoyed today's blog post and that it has given you some #funspiration to do something creative this week!
