Stay Wild, It's A Jungle Out There!
Hello crafty friends! I hope your weekend is off to a great start. I want to share with you another card I made using the supplies that Scrapbook.com sent me (Thanks SBC!) from Sizzix & Catherine Pooler's new release. Let's jump right away into this fun card tutorial!
I started by making an A2 card base and trimming another piece to use as the front panel of the card. On the front panel piece, I stamped images from the Stay Wild stamp set using the We R Makers Rotating Precision Press to make a wreath. I used Eucalyptus, Flirty Fuchsia, and Green Tea inks to stamp the images.
Next, I trimmed and glued a piece of colored card stock on my A2 card base (I wanted a bit of color behind the front panel piece) then, I glued the the front panel on the card base.
Once I was done stamping, I used the Going Bananas die set to die cut the adorable monkey. I used the brown colored paper from the Boho Smooth paper pad for the monkey. I wanted a darker brown so I ran the Macchiato ink pad on the paper to make it a bit darker.
After I was done die cutting all the pieces, I glue them together and then glued it to the front panel. Then, I stamped one of the sentiments from the Stay Wild stamp set with Party Dress ink.
Next, I trimmed and glued a piece of colored card stock on my A2 card base (I wanted a bit of color behind the front panel piece) then, I glued the the front panel on the card base.
I also wanted a bit of sparkle on the card, so I glued some Pinkfresh Studio clear drops.
I hope you have enjoyed today's card tutorial as much as I did when I made it! Make sure to follow me on Instagram as well as checking my previous blog posts for some fun inspiration. Have a fun and crafty weekend! See you next time!
