Having Fun with Distress Embossing Glaze

Hi crafty friends! I hope you had a great weekend! I spent it doing some crafting and some much needed resting.

For today's card project, I want to share with you a very easy to make card I made with supplies from Ranger Ink. I know distress embossing glaze powders have been out for a while, but can you believe this was my first time using them? I really enjoyed using them on today's card! You can find a list for the rest of the supplies used at the end of this post.

I made my usual A2 card base plus trimmed another piece to use as my front panel. On this piece, I used images from the Lovely Lantanas stamp set with distress archival ink.

Then I used the Mosaic stencils and the distress embossing dabber to apply clear ink all over the front panel. Next, I removed my stencil and used Kitsch Flamingo, Fossilized Amber, and Speckled Egg distress embossing glazed powders to heat emboss the background.

To finish the card, I heat embossed one of the sentiments from the Lovely Lantanas stamp set on a nested circle die cut and placed some foam tape on the back to tape it to the front panel.

I hope you have enjoyed today's blog post and that it has given you some #funspiration to do something creative this week!
