Today I want to share a fun card I made using new stamps from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps.

These are the stamp sets I used: I Like Big Cups, Texture Tiles 9, and Coffee Talk 2. I will list the rest of the supplies I used for this card at the end of this post. I decided to create a slimline card so I could stack up those big coffee mugs, kind of how I have some in my own cupboard 😄.
It was a lot of fun to color the background! I imagined being in a very cool coffee shop that had coffee beans on their walls. So for the front panel, I used distress oxide ink color Gathered Twigs and tried to blend the edges darker and leaving the middle part light where I would place my coffee mugs. To finish the background I used Vintage Photo in oxide inks to stamp the coffee beans and create a background with it.

After I stamped my coffee mugs, I used my handy dandy Scan 'n Cut from Brother to cut the images. When it came to color the mugs, I wanted to use different types of reds from darkest to lightest so they could pop against the background. I then used one of the sentiments from Coffee Talk 2 on one of the mugs and heat embossed it using white WOW! Embossing powder. To finish the card I added some sequins to make it sparkle a bit.

I hope this card project has given you some inspiration to get crafty 😀. Don't forget to leave a comment 😉.
